My name is Ryan Horio, and I am proud to announce my campaign to represent the West San Gabriel Valley as Assembly District 49’s Assembly Member.
Working within my communities — from providing mutual aid services to Little Tokyo’s unhoused population to engaging with mental health crises — has taught me that we need someone to represent and amplify our voices.
I believe that the issues we care about – housing, education, health – can be solved by investing more in the public health of our communities. My life’s work has centered on bringing diverse voices together and creating healthier communities for all. This campaign is meant to acknowledge the injustices past and present in our communities, and I will be relentless in my service to bring justice back to our communities.
